“The kashmir goat originated in the province of Kashmir in northern India and it is now reared in Tibet, China, Mongolia and Iran. The modern spelling of cashmere is derived from the french word for the superfine shawls made from the hair imported from Asia.”
This yarn is different, and higher in cashmere content than the other Jaeger wool cashmere, which contains 85% merino wool.
