The ball band does not indicate a recommended gauge. However, because this is a ruffling effect yarn, it contains the following instructions for use:

Cast on by piercing upper edge of yarn with the needle. Cast on desired number of stitches for determined width. The flounce is made in garter stitch (knit every row). The fullness of the flounce is controlled by the distance between the first piercing and the next. Smaller distances create smaller stitches and smaller flounces. Distances between 1/2” and 1” are suggested; it is more important to be consistent with whichever length you choose. See inside of label for pictorial instructions.
