This is an 8-ply cabled yarn, 100% superwash Merino. The cabled construction gives the strands a bit of sheen, as well as bounce and roundness. It is made of four 2-ply strands that are wound into an 8-ply sport weight/DK yarn. Those weights are pretty close to each other, and this yarn tends more towards the finer “sport”,“ but some may consider it DK.
