This is my Suri Silk base, an incredibly soft and fluffy Suri Alpaca yarn with some silk for stability and shine. Its texture is single-ply and brushed. It is lovely in hand knit garments and can be used in so many creative ways. Use it as an accent in color work, knit it on its own or held together with another yarn to add texture to your project. Technically this is a lace weight yarn, but it can be used with many needle sizes to create the texture you like. It feels so good on the skin!
