Kindred Red Alpaca Silken Haze is a brushed suri alpaca yarn with a silk core for strength. This is the closest you’ll get to knitting a cloud made of dreamy colors!

Alpaca Silken Haze really shines when used in projects with larger needles or hooks, creating an airy garment filled with open stitches that have a halo. Try holding it double with a plied yarn to add subtle texture, too!

This is an updated version of Alpaca Haze, replacing the nylon with silk. It is a bit lighter weight too, and therefore more yardage.

SPECIAL NOTES
This yarn is not superwash and can felt when wet due to the brushed fibers. When blocking or washing, take care to prevent the alpaca from felting.

Wind slowly and GENTLY. The brushed fibers love to stick to each other, and will snap if you wind too quickly.
