Introducing Mellizas, a superwash sock yarn that’s as vibrant as it is cozy! This 4-ply fingering weight yarn brings a fresh twist to the classic sock blend—crafted with 85% Superwash Merino and 15% recycled nylon, it’s extra soft, extra strong, and a little extra sustainable. With 10% more wool than the standard sock yarn, Mellizas offers incredible warmth and squish while still maintaining the durability you need for long-lasting socks. The color palette is a joyful mix of bold brights and rich neutrals, perfect for sparking creativity in every stitch. This special fiber base marks our first collaboration with an independent designer, who poured her heart into every detail—including the name.

“Mellizas is so special to me. It means “twins” in Spanish, and I chose this name to honor both my amazing twin daughters and as part of my heritage—it just felt like the perfect fit. For the colors, I wanted a mix of bright, bold shades and rich, cozy neutrals with autumnal vibes—something that would spark creativity and inspiration for makers. The 85/15 base is one of my all-time favorites to knit with, and I hope everyone loves it just as much as I do. When it came to naming the colorways, I knew I wanted that same whimsical feel I love bringing into my sock designs. I wanted each name to feel playful and magical, adding to the story of the collection. And of course, two of the colors are extra special—Chloe’s Pink and Claire’s Red, named after my girls.“
