A silky blend of cupro and Mulberry silk will have you reaching for this yarn for your next warm-weather make. Samia glides through your fingers as you work each stitch making it as much a pleasure to work with as to wear. A sensational blend of two fibers perfectly matched to keep you cool through the warm days. With a slight shine to the yarn, you are able to make garments that drape perfectly for seasonal wear.

Cupro is a type of rayon made from a by-product of cotton production. It is made from lint-like fibers and other cotton waste that can’t be spun into cotton yarns. Instead, these fibers are chemically treated in a closed system in Japan and processed to produce a super-soft yarn with beautiful drape and shine. Mixed with a bit of Mulberry silk, this yarn is perfect for beautiful lightweight tops & accessories.

We recommend wet-blocking projects made with Samia. High heat from steaming too close to the project can damage the cupro.
