Väinämöinen DK is the thickest version of the Väinämöinen sock yarn. It is identical to Väinämöinen in fiber content and durability, but the DK version is 8-ply. It is suitable for socks,but works well for sweaters and other projects.

The recommended needle size for the DK weight yarn is 4 to 4,5 mm (US#6 to #7).

We recommend hand-washing or gentle cycle in the washing machine.
