Like so many of you, I enjoy knowing the origin story of my materials, seeing the sheep in the pasture, and working with yarn that is minimally processed. That’s why I’m so happy to introduce you to Shorn V made from two flocks of sheep raised by Cathe Capel (Illinois) and Rhonda McClure (Nebraska).

This 100% wool yarn is made up of mostly Corriedale fleece, with a tiny bit of Finn and Teeswater blended in.

Special thanks to Battenkill Fiber Mill for turning the fleece into three beautiful colors of yarn, and to Erika Field who created two colorwork patterns for Shorn V.
