Ce fil à tricoter certifié biologique provient de moutons élevés en France, dans le Limousin. La laine est peignée et filée dans le nord de l’Italie et teint à la main naturellement dans notre atelier de teinture en Isère.

Souple, chaud et résistant, ce fil est idéal pour les petits ouvrages tels que chaussettes et les gants mais également pour les projets plus conséquents comme un pull ou un cardigan.

Le fil Poll Dorset est fin avec d’une belle définition, il est donc parfait pour le tricot jacquard.

Entretien : Afin de prolonger la vie de la laine et sa couleur, je vous recommande de la laver à la main dans une eau tiède avec un produit spécial laine. Faites la sécher à plat et à l’abri du soleil. Les couleurs peuvent dégorger lors des premiers bains, cela n’affectera pas le résultat final.

This certified organic knitting yarn comes from sheep raised in France, in the Limousin area. The wool is combed and spun in northern Italy and naturally hand dyed in our workshop in Isère.

Soft, warm and resistant, this yarn is ideal for small projects such as socks and gloves but also for larger ones such as a sweater or a cardigan.

Poll Dorset yarn is fine with a nice definition, so it is perfect for fair isle knitting.

Care : In order to prolong the life of the wool and its color, I recommend that you wash it by hand in lukewarm water, about 30°C with a special wool detergent. Dry it flat and away from the sun. The colors may bleed during the first baths, this will not affect the final result.
