Basic is a go-to staple for your day to day lace pieces. It works up smoothly and is usually quite happy on whatever needles you like (metal, wood, etc). This is a workhorse yarn but still manages to deliver great beauty and is very soft. It has the lovely “spring” of a nice merino yarn. Delightful and cozy. Nice and warm for a snuggly “anytime” shawl.

Hand wash gently in cool water. Do not agitate. Roll in a towel to remove excess moisture and lay flat (or block) to dry
