SuperBFL is a fine sock-weight, 3-ply yarn with a very long staple (fibre length) that gives it strength with a lovely sheen. It is less “fuzzy” than Merino but just as fine. Blue Face Leicester sheep are a “rare breed” primarily raised in England, and Lofty Fibres’ supply is from English sheep, custom spun for our North American wholesale supplier.
