{currel - east anglian origin - a small stream}

We are in love with this yarn! Spun from the fleece of the Peruvian Highland sheep (a cross between the Merino and Corriedale breeds) this sport weight yarn is bouncy with a lovely twist and has proper ‘bite’. It’s a real woolly wool, our favourite sort. Not superwash treated, it will wash and wear beautifully for many years if treated with care and it is a dream to dye. Our range of ~core~ shades are subtle and slightly muted with great tonal variation and depth… perfect for stranded colour work. We think this is the perfect sweater yarn but will also make gorgeous hats, mitts, shawls and wraps.
