This fiber is sourced from Sierra Sheep Farms out of Polson, MT and processed at the Wool Mill in Belgrade, MT. One hardly hears of dairy breed wool in the fiber world and we are working together to change that. While processing losses can be a little higher due to VM removal (they are well loved and fed hardworking milk sheep after all!) it really is a wonderfully udder-rated medium wool to use that is equally as hardworking as the sheep they are sourced from. I envision this yarn taking well to cabled work due to it’s substantial 3-ply construction. Use for sweaters, mittens, bootsocks, hats and more! I can’t think of a more perfect way to introduce it to my customers than in this unique East Friesan X wool with sari silk thread waste to make up the base of this celebratory, yum-inspired yarn.

Characteristics - springy and crisp, yet drapey with a moderate amount of luster.

Color: Natural Soft White with pink/red/purple/blue sari - Variations may occur from skein to skein. Skeins will be matched to the best of my ability according to size of order.
