A super soft and super strong yarn created by blending alpaca fleece from a local herd with Blue Faced Leicester and Teeswater sheep fleece. The yarn has a soft halo, lovely drape from the alpaca, but also structure from the sheep fleece.
The yarn is an option if looking for a no nylon sock yarn and also creates very beautiful shawls
The soft grey colour comes from the alpaca fleece which was provided by Nicky, a handsome grey alpaca from Lanarkshire. The yarn was spun at The Border Mill in the Scottish Borders and is 100% British
