This super soft yarn is a smidgeon more plump than Sturdy Sock because there’s more merino in place of the nylon, and while I wouldn’t recommend it for socks, I’d shout its virtues to the rooftops for every other fingering weight project. That’s why it’s called Footfree, and of course “squish” is an industry term, meaning “yarn so soft that once you pick it up, you can’t put it down.”
