I gathered about 80lbs of fleeces from Shetland Sheep breeders around the state of Vermont and had eight natural colors spun at the mill in Richmond, Vermont. The colors are so gorgeous I decided not to dye them! I chose really fine fleeces and this yarn is exceptionally soft. It is also quite lustrous for Shetland. It has a really nice hand.
