Önling No 15 is a sustainably produced yarn from 100% merino wool - it is very soft and absolutely itch-free. The surface of the yarn has been treated, so it can be washed in the washing machine (on a wool program!). The yarn has a slightly elastic feel to it and it less fluffy than, for example, our No 1 and No 2 yarn qualities.

100% Merino wool.
Sold in 50g balls
50 g = approximately 191 yards (175 meters).
Suitable for needles size: US 2.5 - 6 (3 - 4mm).
Gauge at US size 2.5 - 6 (3-4mm) needles: 22-26 sts x 30-34 rows.

As a rule of thumb, you can expect to use the following amounts of No 15 for a sweater with a regular fit. We recommend you buy an extra ball, just to be on the safe side - you can always return yarn to Önling if you have bought too much (and if label is unbroken):

XS-S = 300 gr
M-L = 350 gr
XL-2XL = 400 gr
