Worsted Weight

Knitting Gauge: 19-22 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on sizes US 6 – 8 (4.0-5.0 mm) knitting needles.

Crochet Gauge: 12-13 stitches = 4 inches in single crochet on sizes US 7 – I/9 (4.5-5.5 mm) crochet hooks.

Cria is a luxurious yarn made from 100% baby alpaca, a unique fiber with special qualities. It’s actually warmer than wool because the fibers are hollow. This makes it lighter and airier, with an elegant drape.

Cria is best suited for gentle, close to the skin garments such as hats, scarves, cowls, vest, and luxurious sweaters!

Care Instructions: Cria is a natural, non-superwash baby alpaca yarn. Because of this, special care is necessary when washing. Handwash only in lukewarm water using a mild soap. Lay flat to dry. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron.
