Knitting Gauge: 19-24 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on sizes US 6 – 8 (4.0-5.0 mm) knitting needles.

Crochet Gauge: 12-18 stitches = 4 inches in single crochet on sizes US 7 – I/9 (4.5-5.5 mm) crochet hooks.

Pura is a 100% superfine merino wool yarn that is lightweight, breathable, and thermo-regulating. Merino wool is significantly softer and more flexible than other wools, making it much more comfortable to wear.

Because Pura is a non-superwash merino wool, it maintains the luxurious properties of the merino fibers. It is breathable, thermo-regulating, and lightweight. Merino wool naturally contains antimicrobial, anti-fungal, and antibacterial properties.

This yarn has excellent stitch definition and is well suited for color work projects. Pura will work well in almost any garment application ranging from sweaters to accessories.

Pura is made from mulesing-free merino wool.

Care Instructions: Pura is a natural, non-superwash merino wool. Because of this, special care is necessary when washing. Handwash only in lukewarm water using a mild soap. Lay flat to dry. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron.
