Atlantis is one of the finest yarns in the Pascuali range. It is a blend of 70 percent cashmere and 30 percent mulberry silk. Cashmere makes the yarn soft and warm, while the mulberry silk gives it a delicate sheen. This blend produces a fine yet strong yarn that is shiny, silky smooth and exceptionally soft.

To create yarn to such a high standard, only the downy undercoat of the Cashmere goat is used. The cashmere fibres used in our yarns are from goats reared in Inner Mongolia, while the mulberry silk comes from China. The delicate fibres are spun and dyed with the utmost care in Italy.

Atlantis yarn is so fine and delicate it can be used for needlework and crochet as well as knitting. It knits up beautifully and has superb stitch definition. Atlantis is perfect for textured patterns and plain stockinette stitch alike. It is ideal for fine, light and warm tops and accessories such as fine scarves and shawls. The blend of extremely fine cashmere and delicate silk make this luxurious yarn so lovely and soft, it can be worn by those with the most sensitive skin.

Atlantis ist eines der edelsten Garne im Sortiment von Pascuali. Während die Kaschmirwolle für Weichheit und Wärme des Garns sorgt, ist die Seide für den zarten Glanz verantwortlich. Zusammen ergeben sie ein glänzendes, glattes und dennoch unglaublich weiches Garn. Der Faden ist sehr fein und trotzdem stabil.

Das feine Haar aus der Unterwolle der Kaschmirziege für Atlantis stammt aus der Inneren Mongolei, die Maulbeerseide aus China. Versponnen wird das Garn in Italien, wo es anschließend auch gefärbt wird.

Atlantis ist ein Garn für sehr feine Handarbeiten. Es lässt sich sehr schön verarbeiten und hat ein gleichmäßiges Maschenbild. Atlantis eignet sich für viele Arten von Strukturmustern, wirkt aber auch einfach glatt rechts verstrickt sehr edel. Atlantis eignet sich besonders gut für feine, leichte und trotzdem wärmende Strickstücke. Natürlich kann auch hervorragend damit gehäkelt werden. Das extrem feine Kaschmirhaar und die zarte Seide machen Atlantis zu einem Garn, das auch von sehr empfindlichen Menschen und Kindern gut vertragen wird, sogar bei direktem Hautkontakt.

Atlantis eignet sich sehr gut für leichte Oberteile, aber auch Accessoires wie feine Tücher und Schals kommen mit diesem Luxusgarn hervorragend zur Geltung.
