Our Cashmere 6/28 is a very high quality and exclusive yarn made of pure organic cashmere wool. The Fine/Sport yarn weight makes it the perfect choice for a wide range of projects.

Like our Cashmere Worsted and Cashmere Lace, Cashmere 6/28 is made of pure cashmere wool. For our cashmere qualities, only the downy undercoat of the cashmere goat is used. The fibre comes from goats in Inner Mongolia, the yarn is produced in Italy. There the fine cashmere fibres are processed to perfection in order to meet the high quality of the fibres. The yarn is also dyed in Italy.

Cashmere 6/28 is a 6-ply yarn. It is pleasant to work with and has a very even stitch definition. Perfect for all types of textured patterns, but it also looks very elegant when knitted in stockinette stitch. The wool has a soft fluff. Since it consists of the finest, particularly long hair, it still has a much lower tendency to lint or pill than other yarns.

The fine, noble and incomparable Cashmere 6/28 is equally suitable for light yet warm pullovers and cardigans as well as for accessories such as shawls or hats. It is cosy, warm, super lightweight and soft to the skin. It is well tolerated on the skin even by the most sensitive people.

Cashmere 6/28 besteht wie auch unsere Cashmere Worsted und Cashmere Lace aus reiner Kaschmirwolle. Für unsere Kaschmir-Qualitäten wird ausschließlich das flaumartige Unterhaar der Kaschmirziege verwendet. Die Faser stammt von Ziegen aus der Inneren Mongolei, die Garnherstellung erfolgt in Italien. Dort werden die feinen Kaschmirfasern zur Perfektion bearbeitet, um der hohen Qualität der Fasern gerecht zu werden. Auch das Färben der Garne erfolgt in Italien.

Cashmere 6/28 ist 6-fach gezwirnt. Sie lässt sich angenehm verarbeiten und hat ein gleichmäßiges Maschenbild. Perfekt für alle Arten von Mustern, wirkt sie aber auch einfach glatt rechts verstrickt sehr edel. Die Wolle hat einen weichen Flausch. Da sie aus feinsten, besonders langen Haaren besteht, neigt sie dennoch deutlich weniger zum Fusseln als andere Garne.

Die feine, edle und unvergleichliche Cashmere 6/28 eignet sich gleichermaßen für leichte und dennoch warme Pullover und Jacken als auch für Accessoires wie Schals oder Mützen. Sie ist mollig warm, superleicht und zart auf der Haut. Sie wird selbst von empfindlichsten Menschen gut auf der Haut vertragen.
