Our Cashmere Lace is a very high quality and exclusive yarn. If you like working with fine lace weights, then this is the perfect yarn for you.

Just like our Cashmere Worsted and Cashmere 6/28 yarns, Cashmere Lace has been spun from pure cashmere wool. To create yarn to such a high standard, only the downy undercoat of the Cashmere goat is used. The fibres used in our yarns are from goats reared in Inner Mongolia. The delicate fibres are spun and dyed with the utmost care in Italy.

Cashmere Lace is a 4 ply yarn that is lovely to work with. It has a very even stitch definition which is perfect for textured lace work as well as stockinette stitch. The wool is wonderfully soft as it made from the fine, long hairs of the goat’s undercoat, and is much less likely to pill than other yarns.

Our luxurious Cashmere Lace is perfect for light yet warm pullovers and cardigans as well as accessories such as scarves or shawls. It is lightweight yet cosy and warm and is so lovely and soft, it can be worn by those with the most sensitive skin.

Unsere Cashmere Lace ist ein besonders hochwertiges und exklusives Garn aus reiner Bio Kaschmirwolle. Wer gern mit feinen Qualitäten arbeitet, ist mit diesem Lace-Garn bestens bedient.

Cashmere Lace besteht wie auch unsere Cashmere Worsted und Cashmere 6/28 aus reiner Kaschmirwolle. Für unsere Kaschmir-Qualitäten wird ausschließlich das flaumartige Unterhaar der Kaschmirziege verwendet. Die Faser stammt von Ziegen aus der Inneren Mongolei, die Garnherstellung erfolgt in Italien. Dort werden die feinen Kaschmirfasern zur Perfektion bearbeitet, um der hohen Qualität der Fasern gerecht zu werden. Auch das Färben der Garne erfolgt in Italien.

Cashmere Lace ist 4-fach gezwirnt. Sie lässt sich angenehm verarbeiten und hat ein gleichmäßiges Maschenbild. Ob in einem Ajour-Muster oder glatt rechts verstrickt, sie wirkt immer sehr edel. Die Wolle hat einen weichen Flausch. Da sie aus feinsten, besonders langen Haaren besteht, neigt sie dennoch deutlich weniger zum Fusseln als andere Garne.

Die feine, edle und unvergleichliche Cashmere Lace eignet sich gleichermaßen für leichte Pullover und Jacken als auch für Accessoires wie Schals oder Tücher. Sie ist mollig warm, superleicht und zart auf der Haut. Sie wird selbst von empfindlichsten Menschen gut auf der Haut vertragen.
