The soft corn yarn is made of the corn crop. The production process is similar to the viscose producing but with maize as a raw material. Namely it is a renewable easy degradable plant fiber.

The corn fibers have a lot of special features. They are very fine and soft, very skin friendly and easy washed (30°C in the wash machine) that is why they are perfectly suited for the asthmatics, hygiene-conscience and allergy sufferers. The yarn is incredible breathable and feels extremely pleasant on the skin.

The fibers come from China, the yarn comes from Portugal, where it is being colored. The color is tested for harmful substances according to the Oeko-Text Standard 100.

Mais is an ideal yarn for children. The very high elasticity ensures longevity and softness; the humidity is led away from your body. The yarn keeps warmth very well, has good insulating properties and is easy to care.

Care:

You can wash maize in the washing machine in the wool program. Please use exclusively a detergent for wool and dry the article possibly only placed lying down on a terry towel to avoid deformation! You also can dry your fabric on the foam hangers but no way directly close to the heat source!
