This is the finer version of Paternayan’s embroidery wools not to be confused with their 3-ply Persian yarn used mostly for needlepoint.

Although used primarily for crewel embroidery this yarn can be used as a lace weight knitting or crochet yarn.

Also available in one pound/3000 yard cones and often sold in shorter length skeins for embroidery work.
