This yarn was first introduced in August 1965. On the early balls, the labels said “Patons Fiona for the Shetland Look - Wool & Orlon”, with fibre content of 50% wool, 50% acrylic. The size of these balls was 2oz/56.7g, which later was changed to 1oz/28.35g.

Yardage of the 1 oz. balls (not given on the ball-band) is approx. 102 yds.
