CHOCKA

This DK weight yarn is New Zealand! Corriedale was first bred in New Zealand and Australia. Its roots run deep here. It is half Merino - so its got that bounce and softness, but it doesn’t pill as much and is more durable. Add silk to that and you are on to it!

This next to skin soft yarn takes dye beautifully and its gorgeous fuzzy halo makes it a special yarn for any of your projects.

The yarn base name, ‘Chocka’ is a common term in New Zealand meaning full up, busy, - in other words, chock-a-block.

“Sorry, can’t make it, I’m all chocka this arvo.”

NB: this ‘Chocka’ is replacing our previous ‘Chocka’ as we switch to all non super wash yarns.
