Our Cotton Pure yarn is pure, natural beauty. One hundred percent unmercerized Pima cotton, Cotton Pure is wonderfully soft and unadulterated, simple and stunning. Available in a palette of over 40 colors, together these gorgeous colors feel like hay fields and stonewalls, pale skies and ripe orchards. A versatile sportweight, we love this yarn for baby clothes, warm-weather accessories, fall sweaters, soft blankets, and beautiful housewares. Unmercerized cotton is also especially absorbent and well-suited for washcloths, dish and hand towels. NOTE: As with all plant fibers, we recommend pulling Cotton Pure from the outside, rather than inside, of the ball.

Purl Soho Cotton Pure

Our Cotton Pure on a Cone takes our much-loved Cotton Pure and does just that, puts it on a cone! The same soft and cuddly 100% unmercerized Pima cotton, only now it is wound in lengths equal to more than ten skeins! With a wonderfully tactile matte finish (the unmercerized part) and strong, extra-long fibers (the Pima part), Cotton Pure on a Cone provides enough yardage to knit a whole blanket or sweater without joining skeins. It’s also perfect for weavers who love a lot of yardage! Available in a palette of soft pink, gentle grays, and warm white, Cotton Pure on Cone is as beautiful as it is practical. We used a Cone (plus a skein) to hook up the free pattern for our beautiful Granny Stripe Blanket in Cotton Pure!
