I dyed this merino roving with professional dyes and then spun it very thick and thin. It’s extremely soft and would make a wonderful baby item (including a newborn baby photo prop) or soft hat or scarf. It is beyond next-to-skin soft.

This filled a whole big plying bobbin on my Lendrum wheel. The wraps per inch vary a lot because it’s so thick and thin, but overall it averages out to a worsted weight yarn. I would still suggest using larger needles, though, so there’s lots of space for the thicker areas.
