Superfine Merino 4 ply is a single ply construction - 1/4nm - giving 400m per 100g. Superfine Merino 4 Ply is made with 100% fine merino (19.5 micron) wool. It is a single-ply yarn which will give a completely different look to conventional plied yarn when dyed or knitted. The single ply gives a softer stitch effect and will be more open to dyeing. Of course being made from merino, it has a lovely bounce and warmth to the handle and it goes without saying that being made from 19.5 micron merino makes it extremely soft.

​The yarn is bright in colour and would dye up well in subtle light shades or bright and vibrant colours. For bright vibrant colours we recommend using acid or natural dyes.
