We love MCN(Merino, Cashmere, Nylon) bases. And this one is in a heavy lace weight 2 ply. It is extremely soft, it has a wonderful hand and makes beautiful shawls. I also want to try it for socks. It does have nylon in it so I think it would work perfectly. It’s a heavy lace but it could almost pass for a fingering. That is a fine line in yarn descriptions. I find it wonderful to knit with and very forgiving. I hope you enjoy it too.
