Áhkko is our new worsted 4-ply weaving and knitting yarn. We have reintroduced a yarn that has been absent from the market for a long time, but which generations of Sámi weavers and knitters never stopped talking nostalgic about.

Our new yarn is just the same as your áhkko’s (grandma’s) old 4-ply yarn – worsted, with really long fibers in 100% wool. Thin but strong, flexible and durable.

Balls: 50 g (225 m)

Origin: Spun and dyed in Italy. Wool top from free grazing, mulesing free sheep of Chile, Punta Arenas.
