A commission spin by the wonderful John Arbon Textiles Mill in Devon. Designed to be soft enough to wear next-to-skin even around the neck, yet retaining all the durability and longevity of British wool. I wanted a yarn that brought together drape, memory, lustre and bounce, with added depth and saturation of colour from the heathering of dark Zwartbles fibres, then topped off with a gentle halo . Worsted spun for a smooth and strong yarn, this custom blend has been designed to be the single yarn base that replaces all the yarns that have been stocked at Telling Yarns in the past.
