100% organic Peruvian Tanguis cotton

This is not your craft store cotton! Chesapeake is a well-spun, beautifully soft 4-ply organic cotton yarn that is comfortable for all skin types. It is ideal for vegan sweaters, baby items, cotton colorwork, and anything summer. It does not have elasticity (will not hold its shape for items like socks or negative-ease garments), but the matte fibers have good hold for a plant fiber and excellent stitch definition. It will cooperate well for cables, lace, colorwork, and garments.
