The long staple of BFL greatly reduces pilling and with the addition of nylon makes for a hard-wearing yarn with a subtle sheen and perfect stitch definition, making this yarn particularly suitable for socks - not that you can’t make a scarf or shawl with it - it is certainly soft enough once washed!
