This yarn is a 80% Superwash Merino and 20% Nylon blend. It is 3 ply. For best wear on socks, I recommend knitting on the tighter end of the gauge spectrum. This yarn is very soft, and fantastic for shawls, light sweaters, and baby items….and of course, socks!!
