Topsy Farms carries natural undyed yarn and many colour dyed variations. The yarn has been processed by a mill that uses only soap, no harsh chemical or even detergent, in their processing. That leave it soft with lanolin and sturdy with unbroken fibres (and occasional minute particles of chaff). The wool has a lovely resilience, and even more bounce when washed with Eucalan.

Our natural (undyed) white yarn is ideal for dyeing. The yarn is excellent for felting. We wash our wool knitted products by soaking in the washing machine with Eucalan, skipping agitation and skipping rinse, then spin dry.
