“Blue Hue” is a corespun yarn handspun from batts I carded using superwash merino, merino wool, bamboo, silk, and angelina fibers. The colors range from turquoise and light grey to black and midnight blue. I corespun the fiber around a navy blue, laceweight mohair core yarn (not visible).

This skein is approx. 55 yards and weighs 1.75 oz. It’s a bulky yarn. Because it’s corespun, it’s very light and fluffy. This skein would make a great--and VERY warm--hat (check out The Spun Monkey’s One-Hour Corespun Hat pattern on Ravelry)!

Note: Though most of the merino in this skein is superwash, there is some regular merino so the yarn would felt somewhat. Handwash gently in lukewarm or cool water for best results.
