This is a lovely yarn which consists of 2 strands of ordinary merino wool plied with a strand of superwash treated merino. The superwash strand takes the dyes more intensely and the result is a yarn that gives a tweedy effect when knitted up. It is a soft yarn with a fairly loose twist.
