Gloss Sock is is a lustrous and luxurious plied sport weight yarn composed of 70% Extrafine Merino and 30% Tussah Silk. It has a soft gleam and wonderful drape. This yarn is perfect for soft sweaters, shawls and scarves. Plied yarns are more hardy and less prone to pilling than single plies, although for garments – because of the fine fibres in this blend – a tight gauge is recommended.

The Merino wool in this yarn is sustainably farmed and mulesing-free. The Silk is sustainably farmed in China.
