Flax Flower is a soft blend of 90% Finest SW Merino and 10% Linen. This single ply, fingering weight yarn has a tight twist, while the linen content gives it a slightly heathered appearance. It is perfect for garments, scarves and shawls.
Can be combined with Kid Solo, Solo, Gloss and The Moon and the Stars. This yarn is milled from Merino wool that is sustainably farmed and mulesing-free. The flax fibres in the yarn are from sustainably farmed crops in Belgium. Flax (Linum Usitatissimum) is known only as a cultivated plant, and appears to have been domesticated just once from the wild species Linum Bienne, called pale flax.
