This is a lovely, heavy weight cobweb which is TWO ply (not one ply as the info above allows for)and 100% lovely wool, soft and sprongy after wash. The manufacturer wasn’t sure of the wool content but I made a bracelet and slept with it on by accident as I’d forgotten it was there. :-) Bracelets are my test for yarn as I’m really sensitive so I believe it might be Merino or something really close to that fine a wool as there was zero itch factor. Hand wash cool, lay flat to dry.

While this is under the heading of cobweb I call it a heavy weight as it works out to be 1664 yards per 100 grams. Standard lace weight is 825-880 yards per 100 grams so you can see that this is double that yardage which means its like 1 ply of your 2 ply 880 lace. A GREAT introduction to cobweb.

We only were able to purchase a small amount of this yarn so when it’s gone it will be discontinued. What with the excellent price point, we don’t expect it to last long.
