Merge Sport is a NON-Superwash 2-ply, sport weight yarn consisting of 100% Merino wool. It is hand dyed first and then spun into yarn on worsted machinery, resulting in a yarn that is light, airy, and bouncy. This yarn will squish and bloom depending on your gauge and knitting/crochet style. This yarn can work for patterns calling for fingering, sport, and even some DK, that calls for a needle size from a US 3 (3.25mm) up to a US 6 (4.0mm). (Always swatch before starting your project.) ColorMix Sport is soft and buttery, perfect for all items, especially garments where you want your item to better keep its shape. Hand wash only.

NOTE: Due to the nature of how this yarn is dyed (kettle dyed first, then spun into yarn), color placement and intensity will vary between skeins, and within the skein itself. The yarn you receive may look slightly different than those in the photo. However, do note that the yarns shown above in this listing are 3 that I felt best represented the variances within the dye lot. This should give you a better idea of what you might receive. Let yourself go and allow the yarn to flow and do its magic!

Yarn Hero’s ColorMix line is a unique dyed in the wool yarn that works up into long gradients and/or stripes of color. Just as the name implies, ColorMix yarns use optical blending within the strand to create unlimited color blends. Unlike hand-painted yarn, the color changes will work up into long bands of color, instead of short repeats. Colors will shift, marl, stripe, and shift back again. Each skein is a one-of-a-kind, even when from the same dye lot. Make sure to order the number of skeins you need to finish your project, as the next batch could be, and most likely be, different.
