Merlin is a soft and springy single ply, fingering weight yarn, with a fiber composition of 90% superwash merino and 10% linen. I have to say, it is utterly delicious. It has the colour saturation of superwash & the delicious drape and contrast of the linen. It is the best of both worlds really, and I’m excited to share it with you!

Every skein of yarn is hand dyed with love and care using professional, heavy metal-free acid dyes and dyes are fully exhausted. It is rare - but possible - for light colour bleeding to occur on the first wash, especially in highly saturated colourways.

Dye batches vary, please make sure to purchase enough yarn to complete your project

Due to the nature and magic of the hand dyeing process, the appearance can vary slightly, even within each dye batch, and across different base yarns. This only adds to the beauty and uniqueness of each yarn, and I hope you love this aspect of hand dyed yarn as much as I do!

When using multiple skeins of a colourway in a project, I recommend you alternate skeins every 2 rows to best marry your skeins.

Recommend hand wash: the yarn is washfast and colourfast. I recommend you handwash your finished work in cool water. Rinse in clean water (I like to add a drop of my favourite essential oil) and roll in a towel to remove excess water. Then air dry flat for best results.
