This is extrafine merino, so it should be machine washable. However, it behaves just like other extrafine merinos. It will stretch out in washing (finer fiber ends mean it doesn’t grab onto itself as well as other wool to keep its shape) and fuzz in the dryer. We’re running tests on how best to machine wash this yarn. In the meantime, we suggest a careful handwash and drying flat to promote the longevity and consistency of finished objects.
