I ended up dyeing a few ounces of SW Merino/Tencel to add a third ply. I want this yarn for socks and didn’t think I’d have enough yardage. I also wondered about introducing tencel (too shiny?) but it actually worked out quite well.

I was STILL worried about yardage so I found some matching SW Merino I had dyed a while ago and spun a mini-skein. I was hoping it wouldn’t match quite so much! I figured I could use it for the heels and toes.
