I divided the fibre length wise into very narrow strips, which were rolled into ‘nests’ - I wanted the yarn to have short bursts of the colours.
I spun the singles fine, and chose to chain ply to keep the colours.
Knit Picks silk and merino roving is really nice to spin - it is very easy compared to other fibres I have tried. I am not always the gentlest when I dye fibre, and it never seems to felt (making it easier to draft). The resulting yarn has a nice shine too.
The colour is much more turquoise in real life.
My Mother made an Asymmetrical Scarf with this yarn.
