Was itching to start something new. This is a summer dress/top for Faye. I am making the 18 month size and she won’t be a year until October. Also, this yarn is a little thicker than the pattern calls for and there is a little less yarn than I need. Let’s see how this goes…

I stopped earlier than the pattern called for but the length is about the same as a store purchased dress in 12 mo size. Since Faye is about 8 mo old it will be perfect and can adjust from dress to top as she grows. Used the same number of garter ridges on hem as in the sleeves, then bound off. Sleeves had one more row of knit after the separation, then bound off.

Had less than a yard of each skein when finished. Yarn chicken!!
