Cast on for the second size (not the smallest). So far, so good. The three strands make it so I have to be careful not to split the yarn.

I will be using garter stitch for the neckband as I a saw in a couple of the project pages I have in my favorites. I didn’t care for the messy look of the collar in the pattern pictures.

Finally starting the hem for this sweater. Then I will be ready to get to work on the sleeves. I think they will go pretty fast. It seems that I have been working on this forever!

Used garter stitch for band as in the two projects I favorited. Used an extra two rows to compensate for the different size of garter stitch as suggested. I also used crochet chained button loops and used 3 buttons instead of the single closure in the pattern.

I LOVE THIS! It is so comfy but looks polished. This could change my jeans and sweatshirt image. ;-)
