Finished one Customfit and starting the next! This one will be plain--not one of the Amy Herzog pattern “recipes” paired with the Customfit pattern. This is what was recommended to do first. But I don’t listen. ;-) Stockinette with seed stitch edging in an “oh-so-comfy” yarn with no itch factor! This is about as opposite as you can get to the Acorn Trail Customfit that I just finished.
Had some trouble with my gauge on this one. I think I did something wrong while entering it for the pattern. Or maybe counting stitches in my swatch. I knit for awhile on the back and then realized that no matter what I did while blocking, it was not going to be large enough. It measured about two inches too small, even when stretched a little. So I used the piece as a new swatch and realized that the gauge I entered was not correct. I decided not to make a new pattern, so I have had to recalculate stitch and row counts and decreases with my “new” gauge. It hasn’t been too bad (it helps that I am a mathematician and that I have done the Craftsy class by Amy!). Once the pieces are finished and blocked, we shall see how well I did!

I finished the second sleeve. I had a lot of recalculating to do because of the decreases in the sleeve cap, and I was worried since good notes is not my strong suit! But both sleeves match (!) and they look like the right shape. 10/8 is a busy day, but I plan to block before the weekend so Saturday or Sunday can be seaming day.

Finished! Seemed a little small, but after blocking it is ok. It is more fitted than I had envisioned, but it is very cute. It will have to be worn with tanks or shells, no sleeves, but it will be a nice item for the wardrobe.
